Practicing good phrasing is something everyone should work on more. Great phrasing is what helps a solo tell a story and draw people into the music. When someone describes a player as "tasty" they're usually referring to the players sense of phrasing.
In this masterclass, we'll be learning how to phrase with rhythms. Instead of using melodies for hooks and motifs we'll be using rhythms. This is great for organizing your ideas and making a solo sound like it all goes together. I'll be showing you three ways you can practice this over any tune and then opening it up for questions. See ya Saturday!
