Since James Burton revolutionized the electric guitar by re-imagining the string gauges on a telecaster and making it possible to bend, players have been imitating the steel guitar and fiddle with country bends.
In this Masterclass I’ll introduce you to country bends through two classic country bending licks. The goal is to get you up and and running with some immediately useful ideas that will open your ears and get your hands comfortable with some new techniques.
The recommended skill level for this Masterclass would be late beginner to intermediate but if you’re advanced in another style of music and new to country bends this is a good place to start.
