Having a good sense of phrasing tells a story, gives solos depth and is exactly what you need to hold the interest of a listener. Good phrasing is often what people will refer to as being "tasty". It's not a magic gift that some players have and some don't. Anyone can achieve great phrasing by knowing and applying these tried and true concepts.
